Scrumptious, Heathy Buttercream Frosting

This buttercream frosting is DELICIOUS! It is also low in calories and has only TWO ingredients (you can add salt and vanilla if you’d like to make it 4 ingredients) It doesn’t have 20+ ingredients like the store bought frostings. Do you know the ingredients in store bought frostings? If not, here is a list of the ingredients in a Pillsbury Creamy Supreme White Frosting (Sugar, Palm Oil, Water, Corn Syrup, Corn Starch, Canola Oil, Contains 2% or Less of; Artificial Flavor, Salt, Mono and Diglycerides, Artificial Color, Polysorbate 60, Modified Corn Starch, Potassium Sorbate (Preservative), Soy Lecithin, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid, Antioxidants (Ascorbyl Palmitate, Mixed Tocopherols, Chamomile and Rosemary Extracts).)

That’s insane! Why so many unnecessary ingredients?! Our bodies can’t handle the chemicals that are in store bought frostings. Try to make your own healthy, delicious frosting at home that also doesn’t include 1-4 cups of powdered sugar that can also cause health problems. Eating healthy can be delightful and quick!

“Eat honey, my son, because it is good, and the honeycomb most sweet to thy throat”  (Proverbs 24:13)
